About OAF

I started Old As Fuck because I’ve been thinking a lot about my own aging, and it too often makes me think, Fuck. Why am I thinking about it so much? I’ll explain that in a post called Why, which I haven’t written yet but it’s thrashing about in my head.

There is much to relish about the benefits of aging, the accrual of wisdom and experience, the deepening of relationships. And it also sucks, on many fronts. But I hope I can dig out some interesting nuggets while wrestling with the suckiness via frustration and indignities.

If you’re reading this, it’s probably because I know you and trust you. Maybe you’ll sign up so you can get the next one and the one after that. Or I’ll just annoy the crap out of you when I know I’ve written about something you might have an interest in.

Besides, we’re all dying. We’ve got to waste our time somehow or another, and this is one way.
